We're here at the trade deadline. This is going to run til the Thursday night sim. If you're not competing this year, you might ask...why trade? Well the MLB regular season is over, and that's what next year's ratings and usages are based on. It might be good to examine your team now and evaluate a few things for next year. - Will I be competitive next year? - Do I have 162 starts from pitchers? - Do I have enough AB at each position next year?
The best way to do this is the FanGraphs links on your roster page.
Of course, if you can take down Minnesota this year, that's preferable, because he'll be unbearable if he wins again.

I thought of another reason. If you accidentally got yourself into a bind THIS season with limits.
Common situation is having guys with 30 starts and then one guy with 12 starts. Well that's 162 starts total, but if you run the 5 out all at the same time, the last guy can't pitch 12 games in a row. He has to be cycled in.
It could be really tricky to patch together free agents for starting pitchers toward the end of this year.
