Brutal. Sorry, SSS. Would it make you feel better if I sent you the stats for my team's first month in another league with dice rolls and cards mathematically attempting to hit the same stats (which I am not) Matt Holliday .111/.223/.200 slash line in 103 PA Rick Porcello 5 starts 5.25 ERA Henderson Alvarez 5 starts 5.93 ERA My real answer is: Hand-picked from Degrom's games logs last year: espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?id=3409211150-4 Phil Gosselin, not good enough to play in our league 0-3 from the #9 slot of pitchers and Joey Terdoslavich, you don't get that with the competition in our league espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?id=340727108 Elian Herrera? espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?id=340802121 Juan Perez? espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?id=340829121 Grady Sizemore? espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?id=340702115 Tommy La Stella You simply face better competition in Dynasty because with 20 teams, there's enough good players that you aren't facing the guys I named above.

Yea, I get better competition, and I get small simple size, but goodness me, if two of the best pitchers in baseball last year are putting up those kind of numbers, then how is there a pitcher out there who has an ERA under 5!
I'll check back in later, obviously, but as was the case last year with my offense vastly underperforming, this year it appears to be my pitching.
Hmmm, so next year either both will perform up to their abilities or neither will. Here I come top draft pick!! :-)

Hey Tulsa, maybe check out other teams' stats before complaining about your squad. I should have one of the best staffs in the league according to last year's numbers, but instead have given up more runs than any other team in HOF. Clayton Kershaw has been awesome in his 3 starts, but my next-best pitcher has a 4.35 ERA. The bullpen makes me shudder, can't count how many times I've given up a large crooked number late in the game so far this year.
